With multiple homes under construction at any given time, we are looking for a proactive and experienced Construction Superintendent who can lead field operations, drive progress, and uphold our standards of quality and efficiency. About the Role: This position requires strong on-site leadership and the ability to manage several active jobs simultaneously. The right candidate will be highly organized, solutions-oriented, and able to maintain momentum across all projects. Success in this role means staying ahead of the schedule, making smart decisions on the ground, and keeping crews productive and aligned.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Site & Crew Leadership

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple custom home construction sites.
  • Direct and coordinate on-site crews and subcontractors.
  • Maintain clear communication with project managers and the office team.

Scheduling & Execution

  • Develop and manage 3-week lookahead schedules.
  • Ensure materials, equipment, and labor are coordinated to meet deadlines.
  • Adapt to jobsite conditions to keep all builds moving forward without delay.

Quality & Safety

  • Enforce high-quality standards and attention to detail throughout all phases.
  • Conduct routine inspections and coordinate punch list resolutions.
  • Lead weekly safety meetings and ensure full compliance with OSHA/HIOSH regulations.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain detailed daily logs: labor, deliveries, weather, inspections, and progress photos.
  • Provide timely updates and documentation to the project management team.

Problem Solving

  • Quickly address issues as they arise and find practical, cost-effective solutions.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks or delays and act proactively to avoid them.

Inspections & Compliance

  • Schedule and coordinate all required inspections with local agencies.
  • Ensure work adheres to building codes and regulatory requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or certification in a skilled trade
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as a construction Superintendent
  • Extensive knowledge of construction best practices, equipment maintenance and use, and HIOSH guidelines
  • Ability to read plans, specifications, interpret code and convey this information to others
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively
  • Aptitude in math and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Good physical condition and stamina—able to lift at least 50 lbs., climb ladders, work outdoors and stand/walk for long periods of time
